spotted a family of goldenye ducks in the Riding Mountain National Park area. In a marsh near Clear lake. The head almost resembles a Common Loon, with a short beak instead of a long bill.
The ducklings are probably only a few weeks to a month old at best. Tried to focus on the family swimming along and getting a bit of close up without disturbing them.
Photographed in late evening so as to get a darker look without too much sunlight causeing any overexposure.
