Photographed this owl near the outskirts of Winnipeg. The Great Grey owl is actually the official bird of Manitoba and I saw this one in the western part of the city near Sturgeon Creek. It’s a large bird and it’s very visible from a distance. It was hanging around in fields and woods in that area.
